University or college students: this visa is for you! Companies in Mauritius offer internship opportunities lasting from 3 to 6 months. It’s a unique opportunity to combine professional experience with a stay in an idyllic tropical setting.

To be eligible for a student visa, you must meet one of the following conditions:
  • Be enrolled in one or more programs at a recognized vocational education and training establishment (TVET) or higher education institution, to follow specific full-time modules for a semester or two, OR to follow a diploma or certificate course lasting at least one academic year.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited institution for full-time or part-time undergraduate training.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited institution for full-time or part-time postgraduate studies (doctorate, master's degree, etc.).
  • Conduct post-doctoral research.
  • Take part in an exchange program lasting up to 12 months with a recognized higher education institution in Mauritius.
